Working with CEO and co-founders to reposition and rebrand their 10-year-old company, creating a coherent, concise and compelling story that ties together its various offerings across B2B and B2C. 

As Creative Director, owning all content and creative output, as well as all product marketing and positioning.

Head of EMEA Content

October 2018 - October 2023

 

Managing a team of 10+ creatives - as well as a budget of $500k - to deliver all of the copy, graphic design, video, and event creative across the EMEA region. Scaled the team as our marketing pipeline targets quadrupled.

Launched a world-leading ABM video program that has enabled Qualtrics to produce nearly 10,000 highly-personalised videos for our prospects. Also led on production for case study videos for Post Office, Deezer and Manchester City FC, working with customers on-site to tell their story.

  • Led on content production for events across EMEA, hosting 1,000s of customers and prospects

  • Produced first EMEA, non-English case studies videos on limited budgets

  • Produced all email, web and digital content for 4+ years, working with team of copywriters to maintain standards

  • Launched an ABM content program that puts personalised videos and microsites in the hands of every single sales rep

Head of Content and Copywriting Standards

May 2015 - Oct 2018

Created and governed content and copywriting standards for one of the world's biggest banks; ran large-scale events to promote the importance of good, well-planned content; led rollout of new websites in China and Hong Kong.

 

  • Planned and created new content standards and ran the intranet section where standards were hosted

  • Oversaw a network of copywriters across the world, with monthly sessions bringing the entire content community together

  • Ran large events to expand awareness and appreciation of content, with speakers on social listening, SEO, behavioural economics and inclusive language

  • Wrote and reviewed copy for the transformation of the bank's online business banking platforms

  • Managed, wrote and reviewed content across 3 corporate editorial websites, one of which won awards at the Drum DADI and Digital Impact awards

  • Worked with Hong Kong and China marketing teams to launch their new retail banking websites, including for a short period of time in Shanghai.
  • Worked closely with local marketing to craft their website, from the UX to the content

Associate Content Director & Senior Editor

September 2012 – October 2018

Across 6 years, held a variety of roles at this creative and content agency, working with clients like HSBC, ASICS, TUI, Vodafone and Alstom.

  • Lead editor and strategist on Sticky Contentʼs biggest account - HSBC - for over 3 years, acting as the bankʼs global content lead in their digital standards and governance team

  • Developed a new tone of voice for ASICS and wrote over 1,000 product descriptions

  • Led website migrations for ExxonMobil and Motability Operations, and produced B2B and B2C email content for the Post Office  

  • Wrote 100s of resort and hotel descriptions for TUI Holidays

  • Led on strategy and copywriting for Vodafone's innovative privacy & permissions content
